Quick Results with Quictent!
I just gotta tell you all about what has quickly become my absolute favorite company! First let me say that this is *not* a paid advertisement and I receive no benefit from the bragadocious post you are about to read. Well, I suppose the benefit I will receive is to refresh your faith that there are some amazing companies out there with well made products. More importantly, awesome customer service. Stay with me here for a bit and you, too, will see that getting quick results with Quictent is not just a catchy blog title 😉
Of those of us that love our dogs more than people, how many garden with your pooch? Well, Mia and Hanani love to help me in the garden each year. It is a relaxing engagement time for them, with, believe me, many teachable moments. Particularly when Hanani thinks I spread the organic fertilizer out for her to taste! Oh my! Talk about bad breath. Anyway… So, I believe addressing gardening in a dog blog is not out of bounds. And on that note, let me introduce you to a company that provides a wide variety of wondrous goods.
Quictents is a gardener’s paradise! They offer green houses, garden beds, and chicken coops. They have many home needs as well, such as carports, portable sheds, and more.
Several years ago I found this site while searching for a suitable, durable greenhouse that was not too expensive. Quictent was the company that seemed to satisfy all my requirements. Back then I purchased a 20′ x 10′ x 7′ white greenhouse with a metal frame. It was fairly easy to understand the directions and not too complicated to put together, even by myself. I was overjoyed when it came together nicely and fit perfectly over my garden beds, already full of plants. Having this greenhouse from Quictent extended my growing season by at least several weeks. And, you gotta know, Hanani and Mia enjoyed running through it when we played “Find Me!” (Our version of hide-and-seek.)
So, of course I was even more excited to get started the next season, planning to start my plants a bit earlier than this Northeast Ohio weather usually allows. Just as the days were inching closer, though, a huge storm broke out and wiped away what hope I had to start early that year. About half of the frame was demolished. Though the cover had a few tears, it was still usable. I was, however, was devestated. I sent an email to Quicten’s customer service center and they responded the same day, asking for some photos of the damage. After a couple days of back and forth, they offered to send me a new frame and I would pay only shipping charges. Hope renewed! And they did this even though my purchase was just outside the warranty.
Truly amazing. Not only do they offer exceptional, quality products at very reasonable prices, but their customer service is off the charts!
What’s more is the fact that the new frame they sent not only arrived just in time, but also was a bit heavier grade. Though the original frame was quite well built, this one was an upgrade. My husband and I got it together and started our plants right away. But, wouldn’t you know, just as the plants were thriving another, bigger storm came along. The neighbor’s tree came down, crashing their brand new fence and my brand new greenhouse. Funny thing is, as bad as it looked from the outside, with all the tree limbs and clutter, inside the plants were safe!

Storm 2 did a real number on all of us! And one of the trees came down on the end of the greenhouse with the new frame.
But here you can see for yourself that all the plants are miraculously safe!
I hope you all can see so far why I am so excited about Quictent! But, hold on to your hats! This only gets better!
You may be wondering how it can get any better than a company that goes above and beyond even their own warranty, delivering masterful customer service and awesomely durable products at fair prices. Well, let me tell you! A bit more than a month ago I received an email from Quictent (of course I am on their mailing list!) asking if I would answer some survey questions. The request mentioned that I would be entered into a drawing to possibly win a free 8′ x 6′ shed. I didn’t pay much attention to that part. Frankly, I have never won anything, but I was more than happy to fill out a survey for this great company! I filled it out that day and, honestly, I forgot about it afterward. Well, that is until I received another email, announcing that I was the winner of the new shed.
Of course, before getting too excited, I checked this out from every angle I could. Truly, I thought it was a hoax. Like some spoofer hacked their site or email list and sent a fake “winner” announcement. Low and behold, I could not prove it false. And a couple days later I was sent a tracking number. When it came, I was baffled because I thought it was going to be one of their portable sheds. So, that is what I planned for. I mean, I am not complaining. Not at all! I am just saying that once again, they astounded me with the quality of their services. What they sent was a framed, metal shed! Oh! The things I plan to do with that storage space!
Just like their greenhouses, the directions were clear. Now, I highly, highly reccomend wearing the nifty white gloves, which they provide two pairs. And, although I was able to put the shed together by myself in my yard, I truly advise you get a friend to assist. Also, I strongly insist that you make sure it is anchored as soon as you get the four walls together and squared! Let me tell you why…
The shed parts came in two long, sturdy boxes. I excitedly got started right away! After mastering the directions details and mulling through all the clearly marked parts, I started with the back wall. Within a few hours I got the four walls together, as well as the gables and cross beam. Then as the day began to wane, I noticed that the left side wall was up-side-down. I obviously did not pay close attention to the holes that needed to be on top! I decided to call it a night, resolved to correct my mistake in the morning.
The next day my son visited. We sat in the garage as a storm whipped up outside. We watched as the raging wind scooped up the shed, fold it in half, turn it up-side-down and slam it against my fence. It was both heartrending and humorous.
March 23, 2025. I really should have anchored it as soon as I got the walls together and squared! Just like the directions suggest.
A few days later I sent an email to Quictent and sent them a photo. I felt so horrible. I was so excited to get this shed becasue, for one, it was the first thing I had ever won. And, more important, I couldn’t wait to get it together and write up this blog post about what a great company they are. You’ll never believe what happened next! The very sweet, personable customer service rep, Miya, responded so sincerely, sharing in my grief. Then she asked if I would consider completing the construction if they sent me some replacement parts. Oh my gosh! Of course! I told her of course I would! Since this is a new product, not previously offered on their site, it took a bit longer to get the replacements. But here is the fine, finished–and anchored!–product!
I LOVE my new Shed and I love Quictent!!
