A Shorter Read
Tonight I am going to make this short because there are some things that I need to update and I do not want to take too much of your time. But this really needs aired. In this update I am going to focus more on meds given. We’ll go over other procedures later. This is just too important and folks need to know. So, this is going to be a shorter read for you all. Thanx so much for coming back and I do hope you post some encouragement for Jamie below.
Brief recap
So, we have a great, healthy guy with acute kidney injury that was re-injured and made life-threatening worse a couple weeks later by the same department that claims to know urology. Are you with me so far? On June 6th, Jamie had become so debilitated we asked the internal medicine docs at his appointment that morning (contrary to their erroneous notes, the truth is we asked) to admit him. Ya still with me? We go to the ER to be attended to and admitted that morning.
They start him on a sodium bicarbonate (essentially baking soda) drip that has glucose and insulin. That was given for a few days. This is the least of our concerns and it does help alkalize the body. What really concerns us is what came next and lasted until this afternoon.
“Bio-identical” vs real
Recall I mentioned in yesterday’s post about talking with a doc that claimed bio-identical “vitamins” are no different than the real thing? (Paraphrased) She flat out stated that the claims of there being any problem with “vitamins” created in a lab are “unfounded” and as long as they are bio-identical, they’re just as good.
Bullshit.
Not even identical twins (created by God, mind you) are entirely identical, for one. Let alone some concoction made in a laboratory to mimic what God created. That conversation came about when I was searching for a Functional Medicine (FM) doc. I left a message on a local FM doc’s website and she called me the next day. Granted, she did take some time and shared some “advice”, but this (above) is her claim when I asked from what a particular “vitamin” she suggested was derived. I am not going to name her, because that is not the point here. The point is, anyone who believes that bullshit is not someone I want treating me or a loved one.
“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked….” Galatians 6:7
When any of you are scouting around for a natural doc, PLEASE ask as many questions, and be as irritating as you can to discover what the doc truly believes. That is incredibly important if you want an actual natural doc.
Why harp on this?
Well, let me illustrate for you why I am harping on this. Earlier today the nephrologist on duty came by again to see Jamie when I was there. She shared concerns about him losing two pounds (which is a lot for him at this time) and his fluids seemed low. She said it was “really not his fault…you can’t really drink enough….” She has a thick accent, so it is sometimes difficult to understand her fully. She put in the order for fluids and left.
Jamie was adamant that no more IVs will be put in his arms. They have already blown at least three veins and he has serious swelling on two of them. He was in so much pain just from that over the past few days, on top of other things. He has had a constant headache and neck pain again as well, along with intermittent confusion, drifting off repeatedly even in the midst of speaking, etc. All sorts of stuff. Oh! And Jamie was never, what I call, a “twitcher”. You know, those people that twitch various parts of their bodies as they are drifting off to sleep. Never. Not until recently. And now he is doing that again.
So, what is the connection? What does this have to do with boi-identical, lab grown shit and dehydration? Let me explain…
We all know, or should know, that anything given in a hospital comes from the pharmacy. Including so-called “vitamins”. That means it is all derived from synthetic/chemical sources and Frankensteined in a lab somewhere (probably China). Okay? …bear with me here a bit longer. I promise this will make sense.
After several days of iron via IV, a couple times per day, along with that nasty salt water IV crap that is high in glucose, he became rather constipated. Fake iron will do that. So, what do they give him? PEG. Polyethylene glycol. Basically fake petroleum. That’s what’s in that stuff, such as Miralax, Senokot, etc.
Add to that their versions of “vitamins”: calcitrol (synthetic vit D), magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate (Tums), vit C. And, of course, Tylenol and/or Oxy for pain (which he only took a couple times because they caused him that much pain).
Now this nephrologist wants to add… Drum roll, please… Lactated ringers bolus. It is an IV fluid comprised of “water, sodium chloride, sodium lactate, potassium chloride, and calcium chloride.” And, yes, all synthetic versions.
I told you…
I told you this was going to be short because this can be summed up with one statement. ALL of those things can cause constipation, confusion, shakes, headaches, elevated glucose, potassium, phosphorus, etc, along with a plethora of all sorts of complications–including “increased urine output…and dehydration.” Now this doc wants to give him the lactated IV crap and make matters worse. That lactated IV crap, among the lengthy list of side effects, not only can cause some of the same things it purports to help, but also can cause urine retention.
Oh, that’s great to give a patient with acute kidney injury. Right?
So they give him a bunch of crap that causes his urine to be cloudy, smelly and putting out too much and dehydrate him and they want to give him more shit that can do the same…but “he’ll get fluids.” I always knew the majority of medical industrial vultures were a bunch of programmed idiots with a god-complex, but this is truly infuriating.
The worst part about all of this is that ALL of these things come with warnings that they can “exacerbate kidney” problems. All of them.
Please tell me how this makes any sense at all. Please tell me how anyone can justify harming a guy with acute kidney injury with “meds” and synthetic “vitamins”, etc. How is this right on any planet?
Conclusion
Yesterday’s post noted a doc’s response when I asked him if everything they are giving him is hard on the kidneys. He clearly agreed. And the result so far is that they are causing him more harm–again. What’s worse is they are doing so knowingly.
Jamie and I talked earlier today and decided that it was past due time to tell them to keep their crap out of his body. No more anything. All we need now is for his hemoglobin to rise a bit more and he is out of there. In the meantime, I am still seeking real care for him and preparing for an intense rebuilding for when he comes home. The LORD our God will heal him.
Thanx again for your time and your prayers. Stay tuned, for I believe SHTF is around the corner.
